When you learn a new language it is never a smooth process. There are faster stages where you advance really quickly, particularly as you get to grips with the language, as well as slower stages where you spend a long time perfecting and studying before you advance. The levels of the European Reference Framework (A1 to C2) have been plotted on a curved graph to represent the typical language progression. This curved learning graph forms the essentials of the Sophos branding.
