Hyperion’s branding plays on transparency and lighting, two key aspects of the company’s business, which is specialised in son et lumière, VJing and mapping. I chose the name Hyperion which is inspired by Greek mythology. Hyperion was the god of wisdom and light who bestowed upon man the ability to perceive light.
The colour scheme references the stage, purple is a transition colour, often used by lighting technicians while blue-green is a colour frequently used in electro communication.
The triangles which accompany the logo symbolise the prism of light. The layout of the shapes represents the propagation of sound waves and the recurrent mise en abyme of geometric shapes in the VJing profession.
